Never heard of this craziness before,
Well the sport of throwing has been around along time with many different clubs. Recently axe clubs have been popping up all over the country and more people are learning about our sport.
Some of the clubs I belong to and am a member of:

What is axe and tomahawk throwing and When will I get to do it!

Good question!

Simply put it's throwing an axe or hawk and sticking the blade into a target.
Some of you out there may have done this over the years while camping or hunting, or seen someone do it in person, an indoor range or maybe on T.V.
At The Range I am teaching you how to throw like all those people! People can learn to throw, have fun, have a blast with friends and family, or come to hone their skills for a tournament. VALLEY AXE

The range has the supplies and the skill to teach you!
The axes, hawks, targets, and coaching are all provided, or you can bring your own favorite throwers. You will learn to focus on hitting a bullseye, beating your friends is up to you, and hearing that oh-so-satisfying thunk of the blade sinking into the target.
So if you have always wanted to throw an axe, tomahawk or knife then this is the place to come learn how to throw!

WHAT, COME ON!!

Some of you are thinking it seems easy but it can't be that easy right? Your right on both accounts! I have been teaching people how to throw just for fun and those who need to dial in their skill for tournaments for years as well as competing in them and being ranked as a profesional and I will be showing you how it's done!

What Happens At The Range

  • You learn to throw tomahawks, axes, or hatchets and you have fun doing it! You can also learn to throw knives.
  • I have been teaching people how to throw for years now and like many of us who compete and love the sport of throwing I want to see more indoor ranges and throwing clubs just like a "gym" or martial arts studio where we can go and throw but also a place where others can come play as well or just watch.
  • you get ranked to throw
  • There is no charge to be ranked or certified for those weekend throwers or members, this is for safety as well as for self-improvement just like getting your belts in a martial arts class.
  • Once you reach a certain level you get to throw on your own without a instructor.
  • There will always be a range master present as well as an instructor if you have questions or need help.
There are all kinds of tournaments and leagues all over the USA and even internationally but none yet near me and I want to have our own Range tournaments as well as national tournaments where anyone from anywhere can come compete. My goal is to have sanctioned tournaments and open tournaments for everyone to compete in. You can come to play, or come to get serious and travel and compete around the world in the sport of throwing!
